This article explains how to export your bookmarks to an HTML file, which can be used as a backup or for importing into another computer.
1. Click the three lines in the upper right hand corner, then select Bookmarks. Scroll to the bottom and click Manage Bookmarks.
2. A new pop up window will appear, on the left hand side, select Bookmarks Menu.
3. At the top of the screen you will see Import and Backup, left click that and then select what you are going to do.
4. If you want to export, choose Export Bookmarks to HTML.. a new window opens, choose a location to save the file on your (K:) drive or home directory. The file will be named bookmarks.html by default.
4. Click the Save button. The Export Bookmarks File window will close.
5. Close the Library window. Your bookmarks are now successfully exported from Firefox. The bookmarks HTML file you saved is now ready to be imported into your Firefox web browser on your new machine.
6. On you new machine follow the same instruction above only choose Import Bookmarks from an HTML and browse to the location you saved them on your (K:) drive and select the file then click Open. They should be installed.
