  8. Your unit leadership will determine which staff will be assigned to complete Level 1 training and which staff will be assigned to complete Level 2 training.
    • Level 1 is a prerequisite for Level 2.
    • Generally, most staff will take only Level 1, which includes how to determine what is a record, and what are our responsibilities regarding records.
    • If unit leadership determines that their area needs a records coordinator, that person(s) would be assigned to take Level 2 (after first completing Level 1), which includes information regarding duties of a records coordinator, and more detailed information about records disposition authorizations, records management, and available resources.
  9. In the Canvas Records Training course, under the module you need to complete, click on the first item listed:
    • Records Level 1 Video & Attestation, or
    • Records Level 2 Video & Quiz
  10. There will be a link to a video. Click on that link and watch the video (videos have audio).
  11. After viewing the video, back on the Canvas course app, click on the red Take the Quiz button.
    • The Level 1 quiz is a simple attestation statement.
    • The Level 2 quiz has seven questions (a passing grade is 5 correct).
  12. Complete the quiz, and click on the red Submit Quiz button.
  13. In the Canvas Records Training course, under each module, other items are listed:
    1. A page of useful resources
