Personal Dymo and Seiko Smart label printers can be shared by a department. If you don't have a constant need, and there is a computer with a printer already in your area, you can request to have the software installed on your computer. We will just need to know the make of the printer. You can print to the printer connected to another PC as long as the printer and the PC are turned on.
To add a shared printer as an option for your local printer software:
- From the start menu enter \\SLHW0###\ and then type the enter key (ie \\SLHW0357\)
- Double-click on the shared printer name to install the drivers to your PC.
- Open the personal printer software and you should now be able to select the installed printer to print your label.
