How to create a shortcut for Win 10 workstation to remote to a Win 7 Workstation.
(This is a workaround to bypass the Win 10 Network Level Authentication requirement)
- Navigate to your Default.rdp file located C:\Users\”username
“\Documents

- Next right click on Default.rdp and select edit.

- Next click on Save as and rename the file “NoNLA.rdp” and save it to your desktop.

- Next right click on the shortcut you made and select open with Notepad or Textpad.

- Next scroll to the bottom of the list and in the next open line type or past this setting:
enablecredsspsupport:i:0 and click save and close Notepad.

- Now you can double click on your remote desktop connection and connect back to your desired Win 7 workstation.
