WSLH uses an "Emergency Notification System" for business continuity of operations (COOP) preparedness planning. This system will allow us to deliver critical information to you during emergency and disaster situations, both during and after normal business hours. This should include *your* contact information and should not be confused with “Emergency Contacts” (i.e. people close to you that would be called if anything were to happen to you), which is handled by Human Resources.
There are 3 types of notifications you can receive, each of which allows for up to 3 different numbers/addresses (if desired):
- As a text message to your mobile device
- As a voice message sent to any phone
- As an email address
You are encouraged to include multiple methods of communication. Please fill out the attached form if you are a new employee or wish to update your contact information for our COOP system. No one else will be able to see your emergency notification contact information.
