Adobe Acrobat DC - highlighted color shading is not printed

Colored highlighted areas are not printing in color for an Adobe Acrobat PDF document, even though colored text is printing in color.

THE PROBLEM

All of the color shaded areas are not printing when printing an Adobe document.

THE SOLUTION

Select Print.

From the Print dialog box for your color printer, under the Comments & Forms area, change from Document to Document and Markups.

Click Print to Print the document.

This should resolve the problem.
