Start Putty from the Start menu and enter in the following fields to creat a connection session
Host Name : <server name> Example: slhEpicDevLims
Port: 22
Connection Type : SSH<enter name for connection> Example Epic Build, OR slhEpicDevLims
Saved Sessions <enter name for connection> Example Epic Build, OR slhEpicDevLims
Terminal > Keyboard > The Function keys and keypad: VT400
Connection > SSH > Preferred SSH protocol version: 2
Back to Saved Session and click save
Click Open
click [Save] to save the session for later loading
To Change your Window size:
Window > Appearance > Font Settings > Change > Select a different size font > OK > Apply
To Start a session, double click the saved name in the Saved Session field.
