Drive letter mapping allows quick access to server file shares and allow backward compatibility for older software system setups.
Open File Explorer (
+ E or right-click Start menu > type File Explorer)
From Home menu, choose Easy Access pull down menu
Select Map as Drive
Select an available Drive Letter
Enter the server Folder Location
Leave Reconnect at sign-in checked
Finish
